Studies show that Men  tend to walk slower when they are walking with their partners, they studied men and paired them with their buddies and their wives or girlfriends! those who were walking with their boyfriends walk normally but those who were walking with their female friends walked slightly slower and the female friend walked faster. On the other hand when the same person walked with his significant other, he walks 7% slower to match their loved ones speed, in the same research they realized that there is a connection between your relationship status with the person you are walking with and the speed of your walking.

Girls tend to walk slower when they are walking with their girlfriend this might be because females feeling very close to their female partners.
